The Pyramid of Ministries at Emmanuel Church

The organization of Ministries at Emmanuel Church is represented by a pyramid which is constructed of four triangles. The triangles each represent a broad areas of ministry and are supervised by a ministry team of the vestry.

Worship involves the whole Sunday morning worship experience: greeting, ushering, liturgy, music, new member information, coffee hour, and even new member assimilation. (Vestry Worship team: Tom Rogers, Tom Hairston, and Jack Taylor).

Grow includes both Christian Formation programs and Fellowship. The focus of this triange is to foster the growth of Emmanuel church as a community. (Vestry Grow team: Janet Jayne, David Taverner, and Frank Goodpasure III ).

Serve is both outreach to the community and world and also pastoral care of our own members and loved ones. (Vestry Serve team: Bob Hardee, Mike Riley, and Jon Harden).

SHARE is the supportive center of the ministry pyramid covering areas such as administration, finance, stewardship, and buildings and grounds. (Vestry Grow team: Walt Bressler, Lee Vaughn, Jane Bachman).
